A rainforest is a dense jungle. It’s called “rain” forest because of the high amount of rainfall it gets per year.

The climate of rainforests is very hot so the animals and plants that live there must adapt to this climate.

More than 30 million of animals and plants live in the tropical rainforests.

Rainforest’s production

We eat many food from the tropical rainforests and several medicines are made from ingredients found only in a rainforest.

Some of the products we know are:

  1. Chocolate

  2. Sugar

  3. Medicines

  4. Pineapples
